International Circulation: How should individual physicians go about using the AUC?
　　Dr. Bailey: We have tried to make the AUC more readable. It is difficult to look at a guideline and figure out how the patient will fit in. This is the impetus for the AUC. First， the colored boxes in the AUC are there to help rate the scenarios. If you know if you have a one vessel disease patient， Canadian Class I or II， and are on medicine， you can get a very quick read of that. The colored boxes make this easy. Not everybody reads the AUC， but they do pick it up when they want it. I think the secret is going to be electronic media. Online and smart-phone apps allow us to enter our patients age and other information and it will feed information back to me. As part of that， these apps can also link me to the appropriate document. Today we need that immediacy. We do not have a lot of time and always have the material in front of us.
