<International Circulation>: Most important clinical trials that are used as references for PCI guidelines were conducted in western countries and those findings may not be applicable to the East Asian populations. Are there any plans to cooperate on large scale clinical trials or develop new guidelines?

Prof. Kyo: A lot of data has originated from Europe or the USA and we need more data from Asia. For the new drug-eluting stents we have no data from Asia. We do no know which drug or kind of drug-eluting stent is superior or what the proper dose is in Asians. Therefore， if we have a chance to collaborate it would be helpful to generate some new ideas.
